Report and results from the County Dublin honey show 2016

The County Dublin honey show is over for another year, and what a great show it was!  The number of entries was up again – a record 286 entries.  More entrants than ever registered online, which makes life easier for everyone.

The number of visitors, at 480, was another record – doubtless helped by the rain staying away (for the first time, it feels, in living memory!).  We sold all of our Dublin Beekeepers’ Association honey, so (importantly) our association did OK financially.

We expect to get some photos from the show, so please check back here in a couple of days for the photo gallery.  The results of the honey show competition are shown below – or you can download an .xls file from here.

Big thanks to all the volunteers, competition entrants, judges and craft fair stallholders for your help in making the 2016 County Dublin honey show a great event.
