Our library

The association maintains a library for the benefit of members.

The Association Library has 183 books and is an extremely valuable resource of the Association which has been built up by the generosity of past and present members who have donated most of the books.

Mambers may borrow books by contacting Eithne Clarke, our Librarian, at email address eithneclarke ‘at’ eircom ‘dot’ net

Rules governing the borrowing of books

  1. Only paid up members, whose names appear on the list of members, may borrow books.
  2. Borrowing is for a maximum period of one month.
  3. The borrower is liable for any expense incurred in retrieving books.
  4. A fee of 50(fifty) cents will be charged on all books borrowed. This money to be used to acquire books.
  5. In the event of loss or damage, the borrower is liable for the replacement cost of the books.
  6. Some more valuable books are available for reference only, during meetings. Members should contact the librarian for further details.
  7. All books may only be borrowed at the discretion of the Librarian and Committee.
